One of the great improvements made to Motor City Online was the introduction of class-restricted racing and time trials. They provide incentive to tinker with different types of cars, rather than just grabbing the lightest body and stuffing the most horsepower into it. Some of the closest and most enjoyable racing appears in the D and C classes.

Many people, including myself, have been concentrating on Muscle Class D since that's what you need for Open Trials at the Goose Point circuit. Currently the car to have in this class is the '73 Firebird Formula. However its popularity has made it extremely expensive. I was curious to see how the other muscle cars stacked up against it, and conducted a comparision test.

For those of you who are interested in the car setups I used for the comparison test, they are listed here. I'm not the greatest setup wizard, and I tended to restrict myself to the parts I had on hand, so I'm sure others will be able to improve on these.
